Greenpeace Greece activists project a message reading: Η ΘΑΛΑΣΣΑ ΕΙΝΑΙ ΖΩΗ ΚΑΙ ΠΡΕΠΕΙ ΝΑ ΤΗΝ ΠΡΟΣΤΑΤΕΥΣΟΥΜΕ (The Ocean Is Life) close to the Temple of Poseidon near Athens.
Greenpeace Greece activists project a series of ocean protection messages onto the Acropolis Hill and other sites around Athens. To call for the protection of the oceans from corporate greed, ensuring justice for coastal communities, stopping deep sea mining and ratifying the UN High Seas Treaty. This was projected to remind decision-makers of their duties to safeguard ocean life ahead of the Our Ocean Conference taking place in the city.
